Job Summary

The Commercial Assistant of Mesquita Group (GM) will be part of the Commercial Department, responsible for the management of the entire commercial process of GM companies, from day-to-day activities that include interaction clients, preparation and submission of commercial proposals (PC) in form of quotations or tenders, management of client’s portfolio and contracts, and marketing analysis.


General Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Prepare commercial proposals (quotations, bids, tenders) assessing returns and risks then submit to clients and monitor the outcome.
  • Prepare monthly analyzes of market trends for the Mesquita Group companies.
  • Participate on the development of marketing plans for the Mesquita Group companies.
  • Propose to the Board of Management commercial strategies for maintaining and attracting new customers;
  • Analyze the strategic position of the Mesquita Group companies and compare to its competitors
  • Propose Board of Management the best prices for services and products, within the standards and limits of profit margins.
  • Update the customer profile and the respective prices agreed in the company’s systems.
  • Prepare and monitor clients contracts.
  • Develop routine visits program to customers and Leads
  • Preparation of monthly reports (Generation of sales, contracts, customers, collection)
  • Assist in other daily activities of the department





Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of proven working experience (In sales is preferred)
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Portuguese and English language (spoken and written fluent)
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A will to learn and work as a team.
  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
  • Basic administration skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma Qualification in Management, Economics, Accounts, Marketing or other related field.
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing will be an advantage.
  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power Point).
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple deadlines.
