Servco Catering(TSEBO) company based in Maputo, which operates in the areas of Catering, Cleaning, Maintenance and Management of camps / condominiums, is recruiting a Project Manager for Catering.


Main responsibilities:


  • Ensure safe and efficient operations are being practiced by ensuring to utilize the HSE resource.
  • Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues and clients for business matters.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions
  • Plan and review enforcing policies and procedures
  • Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
  • Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing company standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
  • Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
  • Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues
  • Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all project employees
  • Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace
  • Responsible for all aspects of vehicle and equipment rentals
  • Manage relationships with key clients and vendors
  • Track vendor pricing, rebates and service levels
  • Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
  • Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to quality, customer service, or accidents on-site. This includes any issues on-site at client facilities
  • Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaint
  • Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings




  • Higher education in Hospitality and Tourism or Project Management or other related areas.
  • Proven professional experience of at least 05 years in a similar position preferred in the food service sector;
  • CV (English) detailing relevant experiences and references that can be consulted;
  • Ability to prepare budgets;
  • Deep knowledge of business management and accounting;
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment;
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English Eliminatory factor;
  • Domain of computer use and Office packages;
  • Immediate availability;
