Specialist: Systems Security Compliance


Role purpose: To support the Technology Security in managing and maintaining security compliance levels across the environment.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership
•    Drive Security Related Projects;
•    Run and Maintain Security Related Products mainly from a reporting perspective which include but are not limited to: Database Monitoring, SIEM, Privileged Access Management, Systems Hardening Tools and Asset Management System;
•    Ensure tool availability at highest standards to support in incident investigation and remediation;
•    Review and Report on Technology Security Compliance Levels;
•    Plan, Review and Report Local Market Cyber Security Baselines.


Core competencies, knowledge and experience
•    Experience Active Directory and Group Policies;
•    Experience with Systems: Windows and Linux;
•    Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills, across various levels;


Must have technical / professional qualifications
•    Relevant diploma or degree in Information Systems Technology;
•    Cisco/CompTIA or any Security Related forma training or certification recommended;


Key performance indicators
•    Vodacom Compliance level regular Reporting;
•    Vodacom Security Baselines implemented at the highest standards;
•    Consistent improvement in Compliance levels;
