A Be Girl é uma empresa social global, fundada em 2014, com sede em Washington, DC EUA. A empresa foi lançada em Moçambique em meados de 2018, com foco em mulheres e meninas como consumidores primários, e registrou a Be Girl Mozambique Limitada em 2019. A Be Girl adota uma abordagem holística e orientada ao design para a saúde e higiene menstrual. Desafiamos o status quo usando o design para remarcar a menstruação e construir um mundo onde todas as meninas possuem, entendem e amam seus corpos. Trabalhamos para alcançar essa visão distribuindo nossos produtos menstruais sustentáveis ​​e de alta qualidade, oferecendo programas de educação sobre menstruação apropriados à idade e criando mensagens transformadoras para um mundo livre de estigma.

A Be Girl está a recrutar um Country Director para Maputo.

Reportes diretos: Gerente Sênior de Finanças, Gerente Sênior de Parcerias, Gerente Sênior de Vendas, Gerente Sênior de Programa DREAMS, Gerente Sênior de Operações.

Em geral:

  • A Be Girl está à procura de uma Diretora de País dinâmica para liderar nossa equipe comprometida e talentosa para interromper o mercado de produtos menstruais em Moçambique e garantir que todas as meninas e mulheres, independentemente de onde morem, tenham acesso à proteção menstrual de qualidade premium em seus termos. Um diretor nacional de sucesso deve sentir um forte senso de responsabilidade pelo sucesso e sustentabilidade financeira da operação da Be Girl em Moçambique. Esta posição é baseada em Maputo, Moçambique, e pode exigir algumas viagens domésticas e internacionais.

Função e Responsabilidades:

Desenvolvimento de negócios:

  • Estabelecer novos relacionamentos estratégicos e manter relacionamentos atuais com os principais contatos de ONGs e parceiros governamentais relevantes, agências da ONU e/ou organizações doadoras;
  • Identificar e representar a Be Girl nos principais eventos, conferências e oportunidades de visibilidade organizacional;
  • Trabalhar com o Gerente Sênior de Parcerias e outros membros da equipe para identificar e garantir proativamente novas oportunidades de negócios para atingir as metas de vendas;
  • Supervisionar todo o ciclo de vendas com os clientes para garantir uma excelente experiência e atendimento ao cliente;
  • As responsabilidades incluem, mas não se limitam a, ajudar a elaborar propostas e cotações, gerenciar o pipeline de novas vendas e buscar novos fornecedores.

Estratégia de negócio:

  • Serve as lead salesperson for Be Girl Mozambique and manage sales support team to ensure annual sales targets are me;
  • Lead the implementation of Be Girl Mozambique’s strategy for business and impact growth;
  • Facilitate the annual strategy planning process to grow sales and maximize team productivity;
  • Set strategic objectives across departments and ensure progress is tracked against key performance indicators and reported on time to Be Girl, Inc. headquarters;
  • Ensure all business activities and external communications adhere to the Be Girl brand.

Team Management:

  • Lead a senior management team, including department heads responsible for Sales, Partnerships, Grant Implementation, Finance, & Operations/HR;
  • Develop the capacity of the Be Girl Mozambique senior management team, deepen understanding of their roles, and assist with career development;
  • Promote accountability, communicate expectations, and provide constructive feedback on an ongoing basis and during one-on-one meetings and performance reviews;
  • Ensure all staff and business activities are in compliance with Be Girl organizational policies and Mozambican law;
  • Ensure organizational values are reflected in all professional decisions;
  • Create and sustain a work environment of mutual respect where all team members strive for excellence and feel valued.

Finance:

  • Take responsibility for ensuring that revenues are sufficient to meet operating expenses;
  • Ensure compliance with Mozambican laws regarding financial management and taxes;
  • Work with the Senior Finance Manager to manage cash flow and ensure that financial reports are prepared properly in a timely fashion;
  • Work with Senior Finance Manager to ensure that financial reports are submitted in a timely manner to Be Girl, Inc. HQ;
  • Build and maintain operational structures that ensure proper financial management.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Skills and desire to meet ambitious sales targets;
  • Proven experience meeting sales or programmatic goals;
  • 5+ years of personnel, operational and financial management experience;
  • Thorough knowledge of international development;
  • Previous proven experience in managing a senior management team;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills;
  • A passion for working with women and girls;
  • Ability to work successfully with little guidance and comfort navigating ambiguity;
  • Cross-culturally aware and sensitive to working with global teams;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese, required, including reading, writing and speaking to a wide range of needs and audiences;
  • Bachelor’s degree, in a business-related discipline;
  • Strong customer interface and presentation skills, with a customer-focused attitude;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Excellent planning, time management, and interpersonal skills;
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and learn new software quickly.
